A Pool Birthday Party
The girls were invited to their friend's pool party. We all had a great time. I took a bunch of pictures for the birthday girl's mom so I figured I would go ahead and put them on here.

NBT Contests
There were several contests going on through out the week. Mr. Matt said that the one with the most visitors in the Junior and Primary classes gets to put a goldfish in his mouth. Now, he kinda cheated in my opinion. The only goldfish at the store that afternoon were either really tiny or really large. He picked the tiny one to swallow.
With Rebecca being the top memorizer in her class, she also got to put a pie in Mr. Matt's face.
It was dark and her back was to me so the video didn't really turn out.

Mystery Men
The children go wild when the mystery men enter during rally time. You never know who they are, how many there will be and what they are coming to take. Here is a video of a couple times when they pais their visit. Be sure to turn your volume down when listening to this as there is lots of screaming.
Neighborhood Bible Time
NBT is an action packed week of Bible, fun, and eternal decisions. I have been privileged to be apart of it for 3 years now. This year, Mrs. Julie and I taught the Juniors which are 4th-6th graders. We were a bit out of our element at first with us used to teaching the younger children but it was a lot of fun. We had an average of 32 to 36 children each day.
After the collection of the pennies and bricks in the pink or blue buckets, the children are made to do something fun. Everything is a contest and the boys won this round.

Each child is given a study guide to complete throughout the week. The primaries color and the juniors have questions to answer from the Bible. On the front of the study guide is a coloring sheet. On Wednesday, there is a coloring contest. There are 4 top contestants for each group. Surprisingly, Rebecca was picked as one. This is her face when her friend Christine's name was called, too.
Here are the top 4. They have to turn around and their peers do to voting anonymously.
Christine and Rebecca

We started off with class time. Julie taught the Bible story and I taught the missionary story.

After class time and a 20 minute break for snack and running around, the juniors headed to the sanctuary for Rally Time with Evangelist Mr. Matt.

Offering is a lot of fun for the children. It is a competition between the Wonderful Women and the Mighty Men. It is given in pennies. If you have dollar bills, you can exchange it for penny rolls. If you bring $5, you can buy a gold brick. In the past, the girls usually dominate. This time, the boys were spending lots of money and bought several gold bricks.
Rebecca, along with others, was able go listen to the missionary's secret. To be able to hear this, you must bring at least 2 visitors and promise to not share the secret with anyone other than your parents. If you do, you have to give your ribbons back to Mr. Matt. This was something that both Em and Bec took very seriously!

During the week, the children learn 5 facts to our everlasting life. Here is one child doing fact
# 1.

Here is another doing fact #2.
I heard the booster cheer hundreds of times during the week. With 4 girls (my 2 plus a friend each) in the car on the 30 minute ride there and 30 minutes home each day... I was completely burned out of the booster cheer!
