I don't want to put too much info out there on the internet of my family history but I'd love to share with you some photos of my grandma as well as my great grandparents.
This is my grandma at a young age.
Here she is again around the age of 10.
As you can see, this was taken in front of my great grandfather's store in 1939. Grandma was 16 years old. Her father owned and operated a successful taylor shop in Richmond, VA.
This phooto was taken in April 1941 at the age of 18.
This is a photo of my great grandmother, whom I never met.
Here she is again. The clothing worn to have her picture taken in amazes me.
This is my greatgrandfather, Nathan Sheer. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting him, either.

I love the family pictures. We visited Lady Liberty and Ellis Island today. It is amazing to think of our ancestors and the lives they lived. How different their world was fom ours.
