Hi~ You left a comment on my photo blog. I did alter them, however it was very little. We just happen to have great lighting that day. I have a Nikon d-40 and use both lightroom and photoshop. hope that helps. i have not had any training either. i just practice a lot with really patient friends =) good luck
I've always liked brighter photos usually, unless it makes the pic look too unreal or surreal. I am a realist in my photography ;) I have been known to brighten my pics just to show detail better, and can't help but thinking that a bright pic is 'nicer' on the eyes? Heaven will be bright from the shining of His Glory, we won't even need the sun! YOWZA! So I guess I am preparing myself for lots of light? lol! SO ... all that to say, I like the bottom one that's bright and 'cheery' looking. To me? Most eyes these days have 'competition' with magazine pics, tv, brochures, we are bombarded with pics of bright things, and I guess I want my pics to look like they measure up, as most folks viewing my pics look at a lot of the 'mainstream' visual things in our world!
