Out of the moth of babes..

Here is a blown up photo of Emily's smile at Christmas. You can see that her front left (our right) tooth is slightly longer than her other one. I saw this but didn't know that it was the beginning of a major transformation that was going to go on in her mouth.
This was taken in Feb or the beginning of March. See how her top teeth are shifting?!?!

Finally, on Fri. March 27th, that tooth came out. It was in there tight. She knows that I am the "tooth fairy" but still likes to pretend. At 6:15 a.m., she woke up and couldn't find the box with her tooth/money in it. Once I told her where it was, she found it but never went back to sleep. She was so excited to get that dollar.

Once the first one came out, the second one decided that it wanted out too. After church, Jay yanked on it and said it was still in there but was going to come out soon. He told her that he would pay her $1 to pull it out on her own and after the evening service, we could go to McDonalds for an ice cream sundae. So, with a twist and a yank, she got it out on her own.

I am loving her smile. It is so cute to see her without her from teeth. One is starting to come in so I know it will only last a long time. I know she is glad they are out so I'll stop calling her snaggletooth.
