Through all that, she remained a strong player for her team. This last game was a make-up game. There was a mix up in fields and once our team found the field they were to play on, the other team only had 2 players. We gave them one of ours, which just happened to be another strong player on the team. It was horrible. The other team scored so many goals that I over heard a father from the other team comment on the fact that they should give us back our team mate so we might have a better chance. I had to leave 20 minutes into the game and Jay couldn't watch. It was THAT bad! As for Em's team, they had 5 points by the end of the game. Emily scored 4 points and the other team accidentally scored one for us.
All in all, Emily LOVES soccer. She is constantly dribbling anything and everything she can get between her feet. She doesn't want to play with the homeschoolers in the fall as she did this past fall. She wants to stay with the league she is on and is excited to be moving up to the all girls team. Hopefully she will get a good coach and one that can help her grow as a player.
