Here is a moth in Emily's hair. I love the expression on her face.

Here is the same moth as it landed on Rebecca's foot.

Here's a slug they found under some wood logs.

And here's the slug dying as we put salt on it. I should have made a video of Rebecca's commentary while it was dying. It was too funny!

They found, at last count, 12 worms in the yard. They made a worm habitat for them. They put dirt, ants, some kind of larva (Rebecca said it's ant larva but I'm not too sure about that) and flowers in a tin with the worms.

Emily is holding one of the worms in this photo.

It's she beautiful standing behind the roses?
These birds have built a nest, laid eggs and had them hatch all on my front porch. It's stuck between the siding and the light.

Ok, I'm completely grossed out for the day. I know it's amazing creatures created by our wonderful God. I just think dirt and germs. I'm so glad that Rebecca didn't inherit that. What a blessing it is that both girls aren't afraid to handly creepy crawlies. I wasn't either at their age. I guess it's a mom thing.
